Since we were founded in 1989, The Conservation Alliance has awarded 700 grants to support organizations working to protect wild lands and waters.  We track the progress of each project throughout the year and measure the impact when one crosses the finish line. Since we were founded, our funding has helped protect more than 51 million acres and 3,107 river miles, acquire 14 climbing areas, stop or remove 34 dams, and designate five marine reserves.
We’re excited to add four projects to the list of places Conservation Alliance funding has helped protect:

Ohio Environmental Council Helps Expand Jesse Owens State Park and Wildlife Area
CRAG-Vermont Acquires Bolton Dome Climbing Area
The Nature Conservancy of North Carolina Completes Citadel Tract, Black River Preserve Acquisition
The Trust for Public Land Acquires Catamount Community Forest
