We supported the Earthjustice’s Saving Utah’s Redrock Country Campaign to protect roughly three million acres of wilderness-quality public lands in Utah’s Red Rock Country from the imminent threat of oil and gas drilling and off-road vehicle use, opening the opportunity to obtain permanent federal protection for these wildlands. Earthjustice prevailed in an Appeals Court case that invalidated 77 oil and gas leases issued in the last days of the Bush Administration.
