The Conservation Alliance

The Grand Canyon Trust used Conservation Alliance funding to play a lead role in the successful effort to convince the Interior Department to impose a 20-year ban on new uranium mining claims on one million acres of land surrounding Grand Canyon National Park.  The ban provides long-term protection for one of the crown jewels of the National Park system.
