Make It Happen
Make it happen. It's a simple phrase that reflects our belief that if you care about wild places, you need to do your bit to ensure they are saved for future generations.
The Conservation Alliance believes that the most effective conservation work happens at the local level, driven by local people. Most of the groups we support are rooted in the communities most strongly connected to the wild places they are working to protect. These organizations are lean, but are driven passionate staff and volunteers. They know that the key to success lies in working with a broad range of stakeholders. Our grantees also depend strongly on individuals for financial and volunteer support.
We encourage everyone to become involved with your local conservation organization. Join in the lasting work to save our wild places. If everyone committed one hour a week to conservation, imagine the impact!
In the pages that follow, we provide contact information for all of our grantees, organized by geographic region. We hope you'll be inspired to reach out to one or more of these groups and learn how you can become more involved. If you can't find a group in your neighborhood, check out the list of organizations supported by Patagonia, Inc. Finally, if you want a little inspiration, view our short video "Do You Take Your Place for Granted". The film profiles three volunteers of our grantee organizations.
