The mission of the Sothern Appalachian Forest Coalition is to protect and restore the wildlands, waters, native forests and ecosystemsof the Southern Appalachian landscape.
The members of the Southern Appalachian Forest Coalition share as their vision the enduring restoration, protection and appreciation of the unique values of the Southern Appalachian landscape.
We work on forest issues such as, wilderness, old growth protection, roadless and forest planning.
