The Conservation Alliance

The Campaign for the Snake Headwaters was formed in 2003 by a spirited group of anglers, whitewater boaters, conservationists and business owners from Jackson Hole.  Our goal was to find a way to permanently protect the most pristine rivers and streams in Wyoming's Snake RIver watershed.  Five years later, we now have a bill pending in Congress that would include 13 rivers and streams and nearly 400 river miles in the National Wild and Scenic River System.  If it passes this year, it would mark the largest addition to the NWSRS in a generation.
