The Conservation Alliance

Friends of Nevada Wilderness works to conserve Nevada’s last wild places, so future generations can taste the clear water, breathe the fresh air, and experience the beauty, solitude and adventure we have inherited from the past. Using funds from the Conservation Alliance we are engaging volunteers who care about Nevada’s forests to gain both administrative protection for these deserving wild places from the Forest Service through their planning process as well as legislative protection through Congress. Our nationally recognized Wilderness Stewardship program heals damaged wildlands from illegal OHV use, invasive weeds, and other threats. Friends of Nevada Wilderness has been successful in protecting over 3 million acres of Nevada wilderness during our 25 year history.
